Terms of Use

Updated: May 31, 2026

These Terms of Use set out the rules that apply when you visit or use Nom Bé. By continuing to access the website, create an account, browse profiles, pay to start direct-hire access, or use other platform features, you are understood to have read and agreed to these terms to the extent permitted by law.

Nom Bé is a platform that helps families discover domestic helper profiles and obtain direct-hire access for selected profiles. We help users browse profiles, search by service or location, process payments, and display contact details while access remains valid. Nom Bé does not guarantee a successful hiring outcome and does not replace the parties' own assessment, communication, or agreement after they make direct contact.

1. Scope of these terms

These terms apply to:

  • Families or employers looking for domestic helpers
  • Domestic helpers creating profiles or looking for job opportunities
  • Visitors using the platform's public pages
  • Internal administrative, operational, or support accounts to the extent necessary

In addition to these Terms of Use, you should read the Privacy Policy, Trust and safety, and How Nom Bé works pages for a fuller understanding of the platform.

2. Eligibility and conditions of use

Nom Bé is intended for adults only. By using the platform, you confirm that you have the legal capacity required to register an account, provide information, start direct-hire access, and complete related transactions.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and non-misleading information
  • Only use the platform for purposes consistent with Nom Bé's functions
  • Refrain from creating fake accounts, impersonating others, or using another person's information without permission
  • Refrain from using the platform for fraud, harassment, spam, or unauthorized data collection

If we have reasonable grounds to believe that an account or its information is inappropriate, Nom Bé may limit, suspend, or terminate access in accordance with internal policies.

3. Accounts and user responsibilities

You are responsible for activity on your account, including protecting your sign-in credentials and contact information and ensuring the accuracy of the data you publish. You should keep your email address, contact details, password, and related authentication information secure.

Nom Bé may require you to verify an email address, contact details, or other information before using certain features. For domestic helpers, the platform may apply appropriate review, approval, or verification steps to improve the clarity and trustworthiness of profiles before they are displayed publicly.

If you discover unauthorized access, misuse, or other signs of risk relating to your account, contact us promptly through Contact us.

4. Profiles, content, and user-provided information

Users may upload or enter content such as:

  • Account and personal profile information
  • Experience, skills, and preferred work areas
  • Expected salary and preferred work arrangement
  • Profile images or descriptions of previous work
  • Contact messages, support requests, or platform feedback

You are responsible for ensuring that the content you provide is accurate, lawful, and appropriate. You must not publish content that:

  • Is false or seriously misleading
  • Infringes a third party's privacy, image rights, or other rights
  • Is abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or threatening
  • Contains malicious code, dangerous links, or attempts to exploit the system
  • Is inconsistent with the platform's purpose of connecting people for domestic work

Nom Bé may review, hide, restrict, request changes to, or remove content when necessary to protect platform quality, respond to reports, or comply with applicable requirements.

5. How the platform works and Nom Bé's role

Nom Bé lets families browse public profiles for free before deciding whether to make contact. Once a family selects a specific domestic helper, it can pay 200,000 VND to view that profile's contact details during the access period.

Users should understand that:

  • Nom Bé is a platform for discovering profiles and obtaining direct-hire access on a profile-by-profile basis
  • Payment does not guarantee that a hire will take place
  • Displaying a profile or applying an appropriate level of review, approval, or verification does not provide an absolute guarantee of work quality, suitability, or hiring outcome
  • After contact details are unlocked, the parties continue their discussion and make their own arrangements outside Nom Bé's direct-hire access service

For information specific to each type of user, visit For families and For domestic helpers.

6. Profile-specific direct-hire access

Some Nom Bé features require payment. The primary paid feature is access to the contact details of a specific domestic helper selected by a family after reviewing the profile.

Under this model:

  • Families browse public profiles for free
  • A family selects a specific domestic helper
  • The family signs in with a family account before paying
  • The family pays 200,000 VND to view the selected profile's contact details
  • The direct-hire access period begins with the most recent successful payment
  • When access expires, the contact details are hidden again and the family must pay again to continue viewing it

Nom Bé does not sell lists of contact details and does not guarantee a hiring outcome simply because contact details have been displayed.

7. Fees, payments, and refunds

When a user pays to view contact details, the fee applies to direct-hire access during the access period for one specific domestic helper profile.

Users agree that:

  • The fee will be displayed before payment is confirmed
  • Phone number access depends on a successful transaction
  • Nom Bé may use a third-party payment processor to complete the transaction

Nom Bé records the fee once payment succeeds and the selected profile's contact details are displayed to the family. Support or refunds are only considered when an issue falls within the scope of the service, for example:

  • Payment succeeds, but a system error prevents the contact details from appearing
  • The profile contains a serious discrepancy in its core information
  • A technical, payment, or operational error occurs on the platform

Nom Bé does not issue a refund simply because the parties do not proceed with a hire after making contact. Payment covers access to the selected profile's contact details for the stated period; it does not cover or guarantee a successful hire or job placement.

8. Prohibited conduct

When using Nom Bé, you must not:

  • Create fake accounts, impersonate others, or publish false information
  • Collect data in bulk, copy profiles, or use unauthorized bots or crawlers
  • Send spam, harass others, approach users for improper purposes, or apply coercion
  • Publish unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, or harmful content
  • Attempt to bypass, evade, or unlawfully exploit contact details protection mechanisms
  • Interfere unlawfully with the platform's systems, security, technical infrastructure, or data
  • Use the platform for purposes that are inappropriate or outside the scope of connecting people for domestic work

If a violation is found, Nom Bé may take one or more measures, including issuing a warning, limiting features, hiding content, suspending an account, or terminating access.

9. Nom Bé's platform operation rights

To maintain service quality, Nom Bé may:

  • Modify the interface, features, display process, or user flow
  • Review, approve, or inspect profiles, content, or activity that shows signs of risk
  • Change which data fields are displayed publicly
  • Request additional verification when necessary
  • Reject, restrict, or remove content that does not meet platform standards
  • Suspend, limit, or close an account when there are reasonable grounds to do so

We aim to take these measures only when necessary, reasonable, and consistent with protecting the platform experience.

10. Content ownership and limited license

Nom Bé and the components of the platform, including its interface, data structure, brand, logo, system text, and content created by us, belong to Nom Bé or the relevant licensors, except for user-provided content.

You remain responsible for content you submit. To the extent necessary to operate the platform, you also grant Nom Bé permission to store, display, process, organize, reformat, and use that content to provide the service, moderate content, offer support, maintain security, and improve the user experience.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Nom Bé works to maintain a stable, clear, and safer platform for making connections. To the extent permitted by law, however, you understand and accept that:

  • The platform is provided according to its actual operating condition at any given time
  • We do not guarantee that every profile will suit every need or that every contact will be successful
  • We cannot fully control every action, statement, or private agreement between users
  • We do not hold money in escrow between families and domestic helpers
  • We do not guarantee a successful hire or the quality of work after the parties connect
  • We do not participate in resolving disputes between the parties after they connect
  • We do not guarantee that the platform will be free from interruptions, technical errors, or risks beyond our control at all times

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that Nom Bé is legally required to bear.

12. Ending use and closing an account

You may stop using the platform or request account closure through the available support process. Nom Bé may also limit or terminate access if:

  • You violate these Terms of Use
  • The account shows signs of fraud, impersonation, or abuse
  • Content or behavior creates a risk to other users or the platform
  • Legal requirements or necessary operational reasons apply

Even after an account is closed, some data may be retained to a reasonable extent to meet legal obligations, preserve transaction records, address internal disputes, support operational audits, or prevent fraud. The Privacy Policy provides more information about personal data.

While using Nom Bé, you may be directed to internal pages that explain more about the platform or the principles that apply, including:

These pages provide supporting explanations, but these Terms of Use remain the primary terms governing use of the service where they apply.

14. Governing law, disputes, and changes to these terms

These Terms of Use are interpreted and applied in accordance with Vietnamese law to the appropriate extent. If you have a question or concern relating to the platform, you should first contact Nom Bé so that we can provide support within the scope of the service.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes to the operating model, platform features, or legal requirements. The latest version will be published on this page. To the extent permitted by law, continued use of Nom Bé after an update may be understood as acceptance of the revised terms.
